Sin City Scuba is approved for VA Educational Benefits and is licensed by the State of Nevada Commission on Post Secondary Education as required by law. Contact us for more information on how you can become a dive professional.

You can use your education benefits for five different programs.

Divemaster  - This comprehensive program takes you from Open Water Diver to the professional level of PADI Divemaster in just 18 weeks. Designed to equip you with the skills and expertise needed to thrive in the dive industry, it’s your gateway to an exciting career beneath the waves. Already certified? No problem! We can continue from your current certification level and help you advance to the next stage of your diving journey.


Open Water Scuba Instructor - This program combines both the Open Water Scuba Instructor and Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor courses, essential for achieving your PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification. Over an intensive 9-week period, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the dive industry and confidently prepare for the PADI Instructor Exam.


Master Scuba Diver Trainer Prep - The MSDT Prep program is a 6-week journey that enhances your expertise in Deep Diving, Underwater Navigation, Search and Recovery, Delayed Surface Marker Buoy, and Emergency Oxygen. Upon completion, you'll be certified to teach all five of these exciting specialties, elevating your skills and professional opportunities in scuba diving.


IDC Staff Instructor - This program is where you master the art of teaching the teachers. Over two immersive weeks, you’ll gain the tools and expertise to assist with future Instructor Development Courses (IDCs). You’ll learn how to mentor and coach aspiring instructors, helping them refine their skills and become outstanding scuba educators.


EFR (CPR) Instructor - This one-week course empowers you to teach essential life-saving skills, including CPR and First Aid for adults and children. With this standalone certification, you'll be equipped to start your own business and succeed as a professional CPR Instructor.

 

What do your benefits cover?

Depending on your eligibility, your benefits may cover 100% of your tuition, materials and equipment needed to complete your certifications. 

 

How to use your GI Bill® to become a Dive Professional


~ Step One ~
First check your eligibility to make sure you qualify for benefits.

~ Step Two ~
Once you’ve determined that you do qualify for benefits, you will need to apply to use your benefits. You can complete Form 22-1990 online at the link below.

~ Step Three~
When your application is complete and you have received your Certificate of Eligibility (COE), please contact us to get enrolled.

Transcripts from any other post secondary education. 
Copy of your Identification (DL, Passport, Etc)
Copy of your COE
