Return Policy – In-Store & Online Purchases

At Sin City Scuba, we stand behind the products we sell and want you to enjoy your time in, on, and around the water. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, we’re happy to help with a return, exchange, or manufacturer warranty support.

Standard Returns

Most items may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a refund or exchange.

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in new condition
  • Original tags, packaging, and manuals must be included
  • A sales receipt or proof of purchase is required

For online orders that included free shipping, the original shipping cost associated with the returned item(s) will be deducted from the refund.

All manuals and materials must be returned in the original manufacturer packaging.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Books, DVDs, CDs, or training materials (due to copyright laws)
  • PADI eLearning or digital training products
  • Special orders or non-stocking items
  • Gift cards
  • SCUBA cylinders (tanks)

Equipment That Cannot Be Returned Once Used

Certain items cannot be returned once used due to safety, hygiene, or resale limitations:

  • Dive computers with logged dives
  • Camera or imaging equipment removed from original packaging
  • Bathing suits
  • Mouthpieces
  • Snorkels

Unused items in their original packaging with tags attached may still be returned.

Motorized Equipment

The following equipment cannot be returned once used because it cannot be resold as new:

  • Hookah diving systems
  • Air compressors
  • Underwater scooters

Warranty service for these products must be handled through the manufacturer’s warranty repair process.

Manufacturer Warranty Support

Many scuba products are covered by a manufacturer warranty. If you experience an issue with equipment, we’re happy to help guide you through the warranty process.

Rental Gear

Rental equipment is provided for the scheduled duration of your course or rental period. No refunds will be issued for unused rental equipment, early returns, or equipment returned damaged.

Class Registration & Cancellation Policy

All course registrations are non-refundable.

Once a student enrolls in a class, their seat and course materials are reserved. Because class sizes are limited and instructors, facilities, and equipment are scheduled in advance, we do not offer refunds for course registrations.

PADI eLearning and other digital training materials are issued upon registration and are also non-refundable.

If you need to change your class schedule, please refer to the Open Water Student Guide Rescheduling Policy outlined in the Student Guide.

Additional fees may apply for make-up sessions or rescheduled training sessions.

Students who do not attend scheduled sessions or who withdraw after the course has started will not be eligible for refunds.

Note: Inappropriate, unsafe, or abusive behavior toward any employee, instructor, volunteer, or student will not be tolerated. Sin City Scuba reserves the right to remove a student from a course at any time without refund.

Returning an Item

Items purchased in-store or online may be returned to our retail location or mailed to us for exchange or refund in accordance with our return policy.

How to Return or Exchange In-Store

Bring the item in its original product packaging (tags attached for clothing) along with proof of purchase to our store and our team will assist you with the return or exchange.

How to Send Us a Return

Pack the item securely, including the original product packaging and tags.

  • Include proof of purchase (invoice or store receipt)
  • Re-use the original shipping box or bag when possible
  • Cover or remove any existing shipping labels

Please use a carrier that provides tracking and insurance. Sin City Scuba is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Exchanging an Item Purchased Online

If you need a different size or product, simply place a new order for the correct item.

Then follow the return instructions above to send back the original item.

You may also exchange items purchased online or in-store by visiting our retail location.
