The Homestead Crater

The Homestead Crater Escape the ordinary and dive into something extraordinary — literally. The Homestead Crater is a natural geothermal spring hidden inside a 55-foot tall limestone dome, filled with crystal-clear mineral water naturally heated to a blissful 90–96°F.

With over 10,000 years of geological history, this otherworldly site is the only place in the continental U.S. where you can scuba dive inside a geothermal hot spring. Whether you're working toward your Altitude Diver Specialty or just want a truly unique dive log entry, this is an experience you won't forget.

This package includes two altitude dives inside The Crater and all necessary materials for your certification — plus a limited-edition Project AWARE certification card. After diving, you’ll have time to soak in the warm waters, explore the charming resort grounds, and take in the snow-covered serenity of Utah’s Heber Valley.

Best of all, your dives are just the beginning. This isn’t just a dive trip — it’s a magical winter escape.
