PADI – Course Director – 308932 I was PADI OW certified in Maui, HI. in 1999. I’ve since grown my experience by having dived a number of the Hawaiian Islands, extensively throughout the tropical Caribbean, Florida keys to Southern California’s cooler yet beautiful seascapes, the Channel islands and closer to home, freshwater diving from Geothermal heated Homestead Crater to Sand Hollow, UT. and in the Southwest’s life source, lakes Mead, Mojave and the Colorado River. This range of experience and my passion in furthering my own dive education with continuously learning and growing has allowed me to earn PADI’s highest rating of Course Director as well as PADI’s TecRec-Tec Deep Instructor, Public Safety Diver Instructor and Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer ratings. PADI – Course Director – 308931 Growing up on an island, my love for the ocean was a constant part of my life. As an adult, tropical getaways were my go-to for vacations, often spent snorkeling. The idea of learning to dive seemed too complicated until 2007 when I tried a Discover Scuba Diving program in Cozumel, Mexico. I was hooked! Back in Vegas, getting certified turned out to be much simpler than I thought. After earning my PADI Open Water Certification, I realized how much I wanted to share this incredible experience with others. So, I became a PADI Master Instructor. PADI – Master Instructor – 282067 I grew up here in Las Vegas and spent many weekends and summers at Lake Mead with my parents. I learned to love the water and all the fun and fascination it offered. I was originally certified in 1966, but it wasn’t until 2008 that I became a “diver.” At that time, my wife and I became certified, and a passion for the sport was ignited. Now, as a PADI Dive Professional, I have the pleasure of helping others discover the wonders that await them under the waves. Some of the Awards Bruce has earned are listed below. |

PADI – Course Director – 416895 I grew up in Myrtle Beach, SC. I have always had a love of the ocean. There was a world of wonderful and weird things that I wanted to know all about. I walked into Sin City Scuba for the first time and introduced myself to a group of warm, energetic, and positive people. As I progressed from a PADI Open Water Scuba Diver through higher certifications levels I realized that there was so much more there was to learn. With the encouragement and support from the instructors at Sin City Scuba I accomplished all my goals and had to set new ones. In September 2018 I proudly joined Sin City Scuba as an Open Water Scuba Instructor. My goal now is to continue to learn about scuba diving and to help new divers experience the underwater world. Regina Cox
PADI – IDC Staff Instructor – 437839 I spent my childhood totally in love with the ocean. Even in high school, I knew I wanted to learn everything I could about our marine world. I graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a degree in Marine Science. Life happened, as it often does for adults, and I put off learning to scuba dive. I finally became certified through Sin City Scuba. Literally, a whole new world opened up to me thanks to my wonderful instructors. I have been diving in some amazing places and gotten to see so many extraordinary things firsthand. I became a Divemaster to pursue my professional goals and to share my love of the aquatic world. Travis Bouse PADI – IDC Staff Instructor – 438180 Born in San Diego, I spent most of my childhood at the beach. I attended high school in Las Vegas and then moved to Seattle, where I spent my summers enjoying Washington’s lakes and fishing across Washington and Oregon with my uncle. Later, I returned to Las Vegas to be closer to my family. It was during a family vacation in Hawaii, while in Kona, that I experienced night snorkeling with manta rays. This amazing experience drew my attention to the divers below, and I promised myself that if I ever returned to Kona, I would get certified to dive with the manta rays. A few years later, with my family planning another trip to Hawaii, I knew I had a promise to keep. I researched the best dive shop in town and chose Sin City Scuba for my certification. I fell in love with diving from the start and haven’t stopped since. Now, as an instructor, my passion for the water and the adventure of scuba diving continues. David Begonis PADI – Master Scuba Diver Trainer – 405508 I moved to sunny Florida, in my early 20’s and was immediately drawn to the ocean. The beach quickly became my 2nd home. Hanging out one night and saw some divers walking out of the surf. I helped them with their gear and listened as they told story after story about their amazing experiences. The next day I went to the local dive shop and re-activated my certification. I dove pretty much non-stop along Florida’s east coast all throughout college, enjoying its majesty and splendor. Later in life I got the opportunity to translate this love for the ocean to my beautiful wife who is now a Master Diver through Sin City Scuba, and my sons are also remarkable at Scuba. Diving has connected us in a way that I would have never dreamed possible. Sharing this experience as an instructor was just the next logical step in my passion for the ocean. Growing up in Florida, and traveling around the world a few different times, I never even considered diving as something I would enjoy or even something I was capable of doing. After a friend told me that he was a diver, I gave it a shot. Since my first breath underwater, my life has forever changed. Some of the most remarkable things that I’ve ever seen in my life have are now accessible because of scuba. As a PADI Divemaster, I hope that I will be able to assist you to see some of the amazing things that the underwater world has to offer. |
